I have recently talked with several people in our congregation who are interested in joining with others in having a daytime visitation group. As of today, we have 9 people who are interested in participating in this ministry. With these 9 people we will begin with 3 teams going out to make visits. Perhaps through reading this article you are just now learning about this new opportunity of service. If you are interested in joining, please call the church office to have your name added to the list of participants. We will have an organizational meeting on Tuesday, February 27 at 10:00 a.m. in the conference room. All who are interested are encouraged to attend. If you cannot attend this meeting, please make sure your name is on the participant list (by calling the church office), and I will make sure that you know when we will begin making visits.
On a different note, the time for our “Gaither Style Singing” is fast approaching! The date is Sunday, April 22 at 3:30 p.m. Our Batesville area Senior Adult Choir and our Sanctuary Choir have begun rehearsing and enjoying the songs for this year’s event. If you would like to participate as a member of the choir, please come by the church office on or after Monday, February 26 to receive the music we will be using.
