Dear Church Family,
Bro. Jeremy and I thank the FBC family for your support of our Sept. 5-6 mission trip to New Orleans. Randy Willis, Barry Moss, and Dan Kirkland (along with former FBC member Brandon Ciaramitaro, now of Brookhaven) joined us for this successful effort to get food and supplies–and Bibles and the gospel!–to areas that were damaged by Hurricane Ida.
Our church provided an outpouring of support in the form of requested donations such as bottled water and energy drinks, and our trailer was fully loaded when we left! The church missions committee supported the trip by providing the team with funds to purchase batteries, tarps and chainsaw supplies. Thank you!
Join us in praying about a return trip to assist in areas west of New Orleans that are still struggling. The need is for assistance in tarping roofs and repairing homes and churches. Of course, there is always the need to preach the source of our true hope and salvation, the Lord Jesus Christ.
