We just wrapped a great month of Vacation Bible School on Wednesday nights in Children’s Ministry! Thank you to all the volunteers who helped put on a great VBS, and thank you parents for bringing your children! We studied what it means to be a follower of Jesus and had a great time doing it!
As we move towards a new normal in Children’s Ministry, I wanted to update you on some of the exciting new events we have coming up! On Wednesday nights for the next few months, we will be studying about missions! I have several guest speakers lined up who will visit us to teach about the countries they have traveled to in order to share the gospel
around the world! We will learn about other cultures, the jobs that missionaries do, and the creative ways that missionaries reach people for the gospel! We will also see how each one of us can be on mission right here in Panola County!
Another exciting reopening is our Sunday School! We are going to begin Sunday School between the two services on Sunday mornings from 9:40-10:20 on October 18. We will have a class for 4-year-olds through 1st graders in the kindergarten Sunday School class downstairs. 2nd-5th graders will meet in the green room. We will continue to check temperatures, thoroughly sanitize, and maintain distancing! I hope to see you there!
