Happy July to my brothers and sisters! We are officially in the dog days of summer but oh so close to children’s camp! We have 25 children and chaperones attending the M4 Camp at Waukaway Springs Christian Retreat Center in Vossburg, MS, July 15-17. Please pray for spiritual work in our children’s lives as well as health and safety for our group.
We have some exciting happenings in our children’s department! I am grateful for parents who have volunteered for Children’s Church and Wednesday night class sessions! We are hopeful to return to some normalcy in the fall by adding children’s choirs along with Bible classes and missions activities. Thank you, church family, for your investment in getting the gospel to children and encouraging them to grow in the grace and knowledge of God.
Please join our REMIND text message system to keep up with our happenings upstairs as well as updates for camp. Our camp group color is red. For those who are attending the camp start looking for red socks, headbands and a red tee. We will receive a camp t-shirt, and there will be a camp store to purchase items. We will wear red attire on day two.
We had a successful VBS at the Grace Place last week with Kyle’s team. It was eye-opening to talk to children who did not have any knowledge of the Bible, Jesus Christ, or God. Please have discussions each day with your children and your grandchildren about the eternal. Getting the truth to our children will not return void.
Oh, and by the way, I am having a BLAST! Thank you for allowing me the privilege of serving your children’s spiritual lives.
