On Saturday, May 25 students who are participating in youth choir rehearsals will have a fundraiser to help pay their expenses to attend SonPower Music Camp in Nashville, TN on June 17-21. For this fundraiser, we will be selling GRILLED CHICKEN PLATES. Plates will include chicken, baked beans, potato salad, bread, and a cookie. The cost is $10 each. Plates will be served from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., and we will be set up so that you simply drive through the parking lot to receive your plates.
Many of you participated in this chicken plate fundraiser in 2015, and it was a great success! So many of you told me how delicious it was and how much you enjoyed it. The same gentleman who was our chief cook will be with us again, so you’ll be guaranteed excellent food.
You may purchase tickets in the church office or on Sundays (May 5, 12, 19) after the morning worship.
KeenAgers Meeting & Luncheon — Tuesday, May 7 at Noon in the FLC. Our guest will be a representative with Senior Planning Group. Please join us as we learn what to expect as we age. SENIOR ADULT DAY RETREAT — Tuesday, May 14 at FBC Oxford Speaker: Dr. Chuck Kelley; Music by: Brothers 4 The retreat begins at noon and concludes at 4:00 p.m. We will leave our church parking lot at 10:30 a.m., eat lunch at Chick-fil-A, and then to FBC Oxford for the retreat.
