As I move into my fifth month serving at First Baptist Church, the children at our church have become dear to me. Working in the Children’s Ministry, I have seen the work the Lord is doing in the lives of the children at our church.

To continue the momentum in our Children’s Ministry and to connect our church body with the Children’s Ministry, I hope to begin a prayer ministry through our adult Sunday School classes. Over the next several weeks, I would like to assign each class three or four of our children to place on their prayer list. I will bring a picture of each child and provide basic information as well as specific prayer needs. After you get to know some of the information about our children, smile at them as you pass them in the hall, introduce yourself, and tell them you are praying for them!

The Lord is working in our Children’s Ministry, and He works through the prayers of those who believe in Him! Let’s show our children that we care about them and want to invest in them! Let’s work together as a church to see our children grow spiritually as they grow physically!
